Tasing Notes: Peach, Strawberry, Honeydew Melon, Lime Zest
Process Natural (Dry)
Limu coffees can be quite different than those from Yirgacheffe and Guji, and the natural (dry) process method adds a layer of unique fruits, too. The dry fragrance has fruit pastry-like sweetness, with accents of cinnamon roll and raisin, with honey notes. The wet aroma brings out a really nice cooked sugar sweetness, and more defined notes of red berries, strawberry, and even a subtle fruit-floral hint. The fruits seem a little muddled when the cup is piping hot, but open up to more discernible flavors as you sit with it. This is also one-half of the current MidSouth blend.
