When it comes to single origins, a great washed Ethiopian Yirgacheffe is always a crowd favorite!

What a lovely, traditional washed Yirgacheffe this turned out to be! From sample roasts I knew this would be special, but I did not anticipate the level of cleanliness and articulate citrus flavors that would come from this Ethiopian coffee. Honeysuckle and lemon notes are evident right off the bat, followed by soft, balanced floral like fragrance and the black tea flavors you would expect from a great Yirgacheffe. COVID really messed with the quality of coffee we are getting from Ethiopia in 2021, but this one is exactly what I would expect a high quality Yirgacheffe to taste like...sweet and balanced.
